Support of Cultural and Community Events
BKIS Support Programme: From Open Call to Systematic Non-financial Assistance
The Bratislava Cultural and Information Centre (BKIS) implemented a support mechanism for organisers of cultural and community events in 2021, initially under the name Open Call. Over time, this initiative has developed into the BKIS Support Programme – a system of calls aimed at strengthening and developing cultural life in the capital city.
Current Support Options
The BKIS Support Programme offers the opportunity to obtain non-financial support through the “Support and Cooperation - bkis.sk” ↗︎ call in the form of technical equipment, venues, and related services. Approved applications may also receive promotional support on BKIS communication channels, thereby increasing their visibility and reach to the public.
The Programme's objective is to facilitate the organisation of cultural and community events in Bratislava for applicants.
How to Obtain Support?
Natural persons and legal entities may apply for support via a transparent selection process that takes place three times a year. Each application is assessed based on pre-determined criteria, which ensure a fair and objective evaluation of the projects.
All necessary and detailed information can be found on the BKIS website in the BKIS Support Programme section. - bkis.sk ↗︎
